Public consultation: have your say on Horizon 2020

The European Commission has  launched a public stakeholder consultation which will feed into the interim evaluation of Horizon 2020, the EU's €77 billion research and innovation funding scheme running from 2014 to 2020. This interim evaluation will help improve the functioning of Horizon 2020, and will also be an important element in preparations of a next EU research and innovation programme.

The public stakeholder consultation on the interim evaluation of Horizon 2020 will be open until 15 January 2017.

From this project we encourage you to reply to it and try to promote Additive Manufacturing technologies.

 16 March 2017- Brussels

Cybersecurity is linked with threats, attack, crime and damage. This ‘noise’ makes it hard to discern the real issues, understand the key challenges and therefore to devise appropriate solutions.

Cybersecurity is becoming relevant to all industry sectors not just the ‘natively digital’, but also traditional industries as they digitally transform their processes, systems and supply chains.  While this shift opens up opportunities, it also creates threats to operational safety, robustness and resilience.
CEN and CENELEC will engage industry to define their standardization needs for functional safety and digital protection of their processes, systems and data.

Contribute to an interactive day with key note speakers, expert panels and dynamic audience participation. Your contribution will:

  • Identify the functional safety and      digital protection issues of industry for sensitive processes,      systems, information and people;
  • Confirm critical challenges facing      industry, taking into account existing standardization      responses;
  • Establish the standardization      needs for the advanced manufacturing and smart energy sectors;
  • Define the  key elements for the      CEN–CENELEC standardization roadmap for functional safety and      cybersecurity.
